Carl R. Young Nov. 9, 1924 - July 9, 2002 Carl Robert "Bob" Young, 77, of Knoxville, TN, passed away July 9, 2002. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 12 at 11 a.m. at Macedonia Family Cemetery on Buttermilk Road in Roane County, with Dr. Larry Fields and Dr. Henry Childs officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, July 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City, TN. Mr. Young was born Nov. 9, 1924, in Roane County, TN. He was well known around the Southeast for his cattle brokerage, being co-owner of Young Livestock Company of Knoxville, and owner of Plateau Livestock Exchange in Crossville. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Bearden, TN, and on the board of directors of First National Bank of Loudon County, TN. Survivors include his daughter, DiAnne Young McMillin; sister, Mary Young Maples of Lenoir City; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Loretta Young of Knoxville; grandchildren, Robert Woodson McMillin, Kenneth Young McMillin and Louise Callaway McMillin, all of Knoxville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Pallbearers will be Landon Calvert, Ray Leamon, Bill Moore, Darrell Murray, David Sharp, John Smith, Larry Tittsworth and Bud Whitson. Honorary pallbearers will be the board of directors of First National Bank of Loudon County, Noel Bernard, John Brandenburg, Sam Hardman and L.W. Roberts. Charles Edward "Eddie" Young, Sr., age 74, of Knoxville passed away on Saturday afternoon, July 11, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Robert Young and Mary Mac Waller Young; brothers, Jim and Bob Young; sisters, Mary Young Maples and Anne Young Jordan. Eddie is survived by the love of his life, Loretta Norman Young; children, Charles E. "Chuck" Young, Jr. and wife, Lela, Richard M. Young, all of Knoxville, Shanna Young Trahan and husband, Brian, of Kennesaw, GA; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; special niece, Kimberly Watts, and several other nieces and nephews. Eddie was a member of Beaverdale Baptist Church. He was owner and broker of Young Livestock, current partner of Crossville Stockyard and former co-founder of Knoxville Livestock Center as well as serving on the board of the Tennessee Beef Industry Council for many years. Eddie was a member of the Knox County Cattlemen Association and Beaver Brook Country Club. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Click Funeral Home Middlebrook Chapel, 9020 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville 37923. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at West Park Baptist Church, 8833 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, with Rev. Brent Turnmire officiating. Interment will follow in Waller-Macedonia Cemetery in Roane County. MAPLES, MARY YOUNG - left her earthly home on Thursday, March 9, 2006. The wife of Edward Lyle Maples now deceased. They had 3 wonderful children: Mary Ann Stewart and husband, Benton, James Edward Maples and wife, Becky, Bob Young Maples and wife, Becky; 5 grandchildren: Edward Clay Stewart and wife Lisa, Mary Lee Stewart, Jess Edward Maples, Joseph Reid Maples, Rebecca Maples; 1 great - granddaughter, Laura Ann Stewart ; brother, Eddie Young; several nieces and nephews. She was born in the Lawnville Community in Roane County and moved with her family to Lenoir City in 1940. Being a mother was her first priority but she had a career with the U. S. Government in Oak Ridge working for 32 years. She was active in Lenoir City School activities being a home room mother for 16 years. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Mary was a 50 year member of the Lenoir City Women's Club and was one of the "Oak Ridge Girls". Preceded in death by parents, Mary Mac Waller Young and Carl Robert Young; brothers, Bob and Jim Young; sister, Anne Young Jordan. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City. Eureka-Howard L. Zobrist, 85, of Eureka, IL passed away at 2:20p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016 at his residence. He was born on April 30, 1930 in Deer Creek, IL a son of Clarence and Clara Raeuber Zobrist. He married Phyllis J. Steffen on June 1, 1952 in Congerville, IL. She passed away on December 12, 2001. Later he married Helen Stetzler Hermann on September 17, 2003 in Morton. She survives. Survivors also include three sons, Clarence (LuAnn) Zobrist; Dave (Ann) Zobrist both of Congerville; Phil (Kristel) Zobrist of Goodfield; three daughters, Judy Knapp of Goodfield; Joyce (Barry) Kloter of Congerville; Jenise (Mike) Wiegand of Deer Creek, IL; step-children, Dennis (Ginger) Hermann of Morton; Nancy (Mike) Hoffman of Roanoke; one brother, Ralph (Joyce) Zobrist of Congerville; two sisters, Betty Goetzinger of DeBary, FL; Carolyn (Jerry) Dean of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; 19 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; six step-grandchildren; four step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Wayne Zobrist. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Goodfield Apostolic Christian Church. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday April 14, 2016 at the Goodfield Apostolic Christian Church and also from 9-9:45 a.m. on Friday prior to the services at church.
