He was born Feb. 21, 1921 at Bloomington, a son to Rosco Clint and Emma DeVary Lesher. He married Donna LaMont Anderson in 1969. Mr. Lesher retired after 37 years of service as a line foreman with Illinois Power Co. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church of Princeton and IBEW Local 51. He was also a member and past governor of Bloomington Moose Lodge #745 and was an avid fisherman. |
BLOOMINGTON - Grace E. Waller, age 87, of Bloomington, Ill., passed away at 12:52 a.m. on Friday, June 18, 2010, at her family residence. Her services will be on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home in Bloomington, with Pastor Dan Waller officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington, Ill. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the memorial home. Memorials may be made to Advocate BroMenn Hospice. Grace was born on July 23, 1922, in Normal, Ill., the daughter of Ernest and Jennie Rouse Lesher. She married William Waller on Dec. 16, 1944, in Normal, Ill. He passed away on July 17, 1991. Survivors include her children, Jim (Sharon) Waller of Morton, Ill., Bob (Donna) Waller of Bloomington, Ill., and Cathy (Paul) Turner of Bloomington, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one daughter, one grandson, two brothers and two sisters. Grace was a member of East White Oak Bible Church in rural Carlock. She made many friends over the years as a resident of Anglers Manor. |

Lenora Craig, 82, , died at 9 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 10, 1993) North Hills, California. She was born April 4, 1910, at Normal, Illinois,a daughter of Roscoe C. and Emma DeVary Lesher. She married C.H. "Bill" Craig in 1940 at Burlington, Iowa. He died in 1963. Survivors include a daughter, Bernice Butler, North Hills, Calif.; a brother, Everett Lesher, Princeton, Wis.; two sisters, Fern Barrow, Aurora, and Marguerite Moynihan, Peoria, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
