  	LACON - Alice M. Duden, 94, of rural Lacon died at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004, at Heritage Manor in Chillicothe. Born March 31, 1909, in Vernon to George and Nancy Muir Rouse, she married Jake Duden on April 4, 1929, in Minonk. He died Feb. 2, 1998. She also was preceded in death by a niece who she raised, Ginny Landers; one brother; and one sister. Surviving are one nephew, C. Ralph Landers of Peoria; and one niece, Doris Shannon of Heyworth. She was a dynamometer tester at Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria for 26 years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Chillicothe. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at her church. The Rev. Steven Mall will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon. Burial will be in Chillicothe City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to her church.
