A simultaneous memorial service will be held for Louise Grace Smith nee Waller, 92, of Vacaville, by her Tennessee family at the church Louise joined as a young woman, the First Baptist Church in Lenoir City, Tenn. Pastor Su Schlagel will officiate. Burial will be in Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery. Mrs. Smith passed away Nov. 6, 2005, in Vacaville. She was born Sept. 1, 1913, in Lenoir City, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Thomas Carr and Elizabeth Victoria Waller, she married Victor Jack Smith during World War II. At the end of WW II, they moved to Carmichael. Louise worked for the Franchise Tax Board, as did her husband. They enjoyed square dancing. Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter, Sharon Rose and husband and "favorite" son-in-law, Dave King of Vacaville; grandson, Chuck King and his wife, Shirley and their three beautiful daughters, Samantha, Marissa and Breanna all of Citrus Heights; sisters, Alice Smith, Bonnie Rose Earley, Naomi O'Neal, Martha May Stokes (Ken), and Edna Clark, all of East Tennessee and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and only brother, Harden Waller, and elder sister, Ruby Waller. Louise carried a small piece of paper in her purse with a handwritten note entitled "My Wishes." The last sentence said her ambition in life was to be a good wife, mother and a good neighbor. Arrangements are under the direction of McCune Garden Chapel.
