Notes - Olin Moore was a farmer for a number of years, then he went to work for for the Langdale Textile Mill, a Division of West Point Pepperell. He is a warper in the weave room.
Mary Kate was a housewife until recently when her husband had a heart attack. She went to work in sewing plant for a while. Her hobbies are sewing and cooking. She makes most of the clothes for her family, and loves to bake cakes and pies, and try new recipes.
"We are just plain country people - about the average income in the community. We own our own home on a 6 acre lot. We raise most of our own food, and we all love the country. All out children have finished school in Troup County, and have good jobs. One boy is an electrician and one is a supervisor in a Tycon Plant in LaGrange.
"We live about half-way between LaGrange and West Point; we just happen to live on the West Point end of the county."
