- CARLOCK — Linda Lee Waller, 75, of Carlock, passed away at 3:19 a.m. Tuesday (May 2, 2017) at her home.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Carlock Mennonite Church, 217 E. Washington St., Carlock. The Rev. Doane Brubaker will officiate. Burial will be at White Oak Union Cemetery, Carlock. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Carlock Mennonite Church, Carlock.
The family suggests memorials be made to Easter Seals of Illinois, the Carlock Mennonite Church or 4p- support group, http://4p-supportgroup.org. Arrangements are being handled by Otto-Argo-Calvert Memorial Home, Carlock.
Linda was born March 15, 1942, in Congerville, the daughter of William and Emma Moser Reeser. She married Robert R. “Bob” Waller on July 29, 1961, at East White Oak Bible Church, Carlock. He survives.
Also surviving are her five children, Debra Brown, Peoria; Robert (Susan) Waller, Carlock; Diana (Rick) Boschulte, Eureka; Russel (Mary Jo) Waller, Hudson; and Gloria (Jimmy) McGowan, Bloomington; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard (Kay) Reeser, East Peoria; and two sisters, Marie Petrowski, Metamora, and Edna (Bill) Tellkamp, Punta Gorda, Fla.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
Linda and her husband Bob farmed and raised hogs and cattle in rural Carlock for more than 55 years.
She loved singing and music. Linda’s family was the most important thing in the world to her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be missed by all who knew her.
