  	DEER CREEK - William F. Joos, 87, of 11559 Joos Road died at 1:10 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 1998, at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton. Born March 5, 1911. In Alta to Ernest and Louise Aupperle Joos, he married Clementine M. Knapp on April 14, 1934. In Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Glenn and Loren, both of Deer Creek; two daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Arletta) Martin of Eureka and Mrs. Norman (Eileen) Musselman of Deer Creek; two brothers, George of Morton and Sam of Kickapoo; three sisters, Frieda Joos at Peoria, Emma Ackerman of Deer Creek and Mrs. Harold (Louise) Winemiller of Washington; 20 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. Four brothers, two sisters and one grandson preceded him in death. He was a farmer from 1939 until retiring in 1994. He was a member of Goodfield Apostolic Christian Church, where he taught Sunday school for 14 years. He was a board member of Deer Creek-Mackinaw School Board and later became president. He was one of the founders of Deer Creek PTA Pancake Supper and an honorary life member of the Deer Creek PTA. He was a founder of Deer Creek Rural Fire Department. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at his church, With church ministers officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home, Morton, and from 9 to 9:45 am. Monday at the church. Burial will be in Goodfield-Congerville Apostolic Christian Cemetery, Goodfield. Memorials may be made to Apostolic Christian Restmor or the Apostolic Christian Home for the Handicapped, both in Morton.
