- Charles F. Barrow, 69, of 602 N. Western Ave., Bloomington, a retired State Farm Insurance Cos. employee, died at 9:40 a.m. yesterday (March 3, 1991) in the emergency room at Brokaw Hospital, Normal.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Metzler-Froelich Memorial Home, Bloomington, the Rev. Linda Carlson officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Bloomington.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service Tuesday at the memorial home.
He was born Feb. 6, 1922, in Bloomington, a son of Fred J. and Bonnylynn Book Barrow. He married Fern L. Lesher April 17, 1943, in St. Louis. She survives.
Also surviving are his father, 410 E. Washington St., Bloomington; one son, Steven J., Batavia; one daughter, Nancy Beyer, 121 Greenwood Ave., Lot 31, J-Z Mobile Manor, Bloomington; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister.
Mr. Barrow worked at State Farm for 36 years in the fabrication department, retiring in 1986.
Memorials may be made to the Second Christian Church in Bloomington or American Lung Association.
