- FAIRBURY - Sallie O. Bittner, 100, a lifelong resident of Fairbury, a homemaker and retired cook, died at 2:43 a.m. Monday (June 15, 1992) at her home.
A private funeral will be today with church ministers officiating. Burial will be in East Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, is in charge of arrangements.
Miss Bittner was born March 12, 1892, in Livingston County, a daughter of Valentine and Salome Steidinger Bittner.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Three brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
Miss Bittner had been a cook for many years at Fairbury Hospital.
She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Fairbury.
