  	Zelma “Lorene” Joos, age 95, of Peoria, formerly of Chillicothe, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 9:15 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Skylines in Peoria. She was born January 19, 1926 in Kirksville, MO to Claude and Irene (Acton) Rummerfield. She married Robert K. Joos on July 6, 1946. He passed away September 29, 2010 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sons: Robert D. Joos, Ronald E. Joos, two brothers: Claude Rummerfield, Jr, Vernon Rummerfield, one sister, Millie Dobbins, and one great-grandson. Survivors include one son, Ralph (Jenny) Joos of Wyoming, IL, two daughters-in-law, Rebecca Joos of Buda, IL, Christy Joos of Bloomfield, IA, 20 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Norma Gronewald of Chillicothe Lorene was a member of the Peoria Apostolic Christian Church on Sheridan Road for 59 years. She was faithful in her walk with the Lord and was an encouragement to all those that she knew and loved. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Peoria Apostolic Christian Church on Sheridan Road. Visitation will be from 9 am to 10:15 a.m. prior to the services. Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Princeville. Memorials may be made to the Apostolic Christian Skylines in Peoria.
