Danny is survived by his brother Gary; his children Shane and Shannon Joos; his grandchildren Lauren, Tyler, Kylee, Ashlee, Jessica, and Christina; and the Great-grandfather of 8.
Danny voluntarily enlisted as a Marine in 1967 and was immediately sent to Vietnam. He bravely served in the Vietnam War from 1967-1970 at the height of battle. Danny returned home in 1970. He continued to serve until 1973 and was Honorably Discharged, December 3rd of that same year.
He was a kind and caring man; Devoted father, family man and friend. He was an avid fisherman. He loved music, camping and playing poker. Danny spent much of his time enjoying the sun in Florida and he retired. He brightened the world around him. His contagious smile, his honesty, and intelligence have left an everlasting mark on us all.
He is predeceased by both his parents; his sister, Beverly; and his son, Wade.
